Maine Moose Hunting
Maine Moose hunting is considered to be world class. In Maine, moose hunters are chosen by lottery only. Because of the lottery, many consider being selected a once in a lifetime opportunity. We understand how long some people have waited and we aim to make your moose hunt an exciting adventure.
We have camps in or near the following Wildlife Management Districts: 4,8,9,10, 11,14, 18, and 19. However, we are not limited to these areas! Please contact us to discuss your desired Moose hunting location.
The State of Maine has arguably the best moose hunting opportunity and one of the largest moose populations in the lower 48 states. They live in areas interspersed with miles of logging roads. Maine's moose population is plentiful enough to produce that trophy of a lifetime. Fifty inch bulls are common, and sixty inch bulls are possible.
The majority of moose hunting in Maine occurs within the industrial timberlands of the state and is somewhat remote. The down side of this golden opportunity is the difficulty in obtaining a tag. You must draw a tag from a lottery system that allows a mere 10% to nonresidents. If you are lucky enough to draw a moose permit, we are pleased to offer you and your hunting party guided hunts. We are located in the center of WMD Zone 14 and can easily guide you in any of the surrounding zones.
Guided hunts for Moose are available in most all zones, we are continuously scouting and our moose hunt includes calling, stalking, glassing and road work, and transportation to and from hunting area, meals, lodging, retrieval, and field dressing of animal. We are set up with all of the necessary equipment to handle your moose.
Meat processing is not included. Recommendations for meat processing are available upon request, or you can make your own arraignments.
The Moose Hunts are six days, seven nights with all meals included.

As your guide, we will locate a moose and set you up accordingly. Since the week of moose season coincides with the rut, one method we use for bulls is "calling". This method is very effective. Bulls can be as large as 1100 lbs. with 60" spreads so this hunt will be one to remember. Your guide will assist field dressing the animal and removing it out of the woods for you.

Check-in for all hunts will be on Sunday at 4 PM and will continue through the following Sunday at 10 AM.
